A Study on the Maintenance of Human Embryo Lung Cell Culture

Abstract
Recently, continue cell lines such as HeLa, MK, KB, FL and primary culture cells have been used in general virus studies.
The type of cell culture used for virus cultivation depend on the sensitivity of cells to the particular virus.
When virus multiple in cell culture, they produce cytopathic effect or production of a hemagglutinin that permit identification of virus.
Previous reports involving human embryo cell culture have been carried out for several years.
The present report represents a continuation of those studies and describes the results of basic study of maintenance storage of human embryo lung cell cultures. The results are as follws.
¨çThe maintenance periods of human embryo lung cells cultures (10 cases) were about 3 months.
¨è After 24 hours storage of lung in refrigerator (5¡ÆC), the growth of human embryo lung cells was possible
¨é After 6 hours exposure of human embryo lung cells to room temperature, growth of human embryo lung cells was possible,
¨ê After 6 months storage of human embryo lung cells in deep freezer (-70¡ÆC), growth of human embryo lung cells was possible.
